ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY
Astro-English: from Astronese, the prefix urano- is used here to denote “the heavens” from the Greek word ouranos for “the heavens” or “the sky”; conjoining this to the suffix -isation to denote a process of some kind that, altogether, means “the process of making something about the heavens” which in the context of Astronism “heavens” equates to “the astronomical world.”
